Ping Guo, Undergraduate Researcher

Ping is an undergraduate research assistant and currently a senior biology student,  minoring in both chemistry and Spanish. Her current research is involving finding the genes that possibly interact with gfzf, which is essential in learning about hybrid incompatibility in D. melanogaster and D. simulans. During her time in the Phadnis Lab, Ping has been the recipient of several awards and fellowships for undergraduate research, and has paved the way for many of the other undergrads obtaining their own funding.  Ping thinks she is a fun person (not a scary person). As Jacob always says, "Ping is a loyal one and there‚Äôs never a betrayal."
